Kristi has been a familiar face in politics for the past several years. She was Co-Chair for the 2004 Bush-Cheney presidential campaign in Butler County. Kristi recently defended her dissertation at the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology and currently works in the department as Director of the Physical Activity Resource Center for Public Health at the University. She is also a former member of the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania.
