Mission
Today's Young Republicans are young professionals between the ages of 18 and 40, who belong to a nationwide network of like-minded individuals. The Butler County Young Republicans is an organization of Republicans between the ages of 18 and 40 who share an interest in politics and the success of the Republican Party. The Butler County Young Republicans was established in 1995 and is recognized as an official chapter by the Young Republican National Federation and the Pennsylvania Federation of Young Republicans. We are members of a nationwide network of like-minded individuals.

The Young Republican National Federation, Inc. is the governing body that oversees the State Organizations across the country and facilitates opportunities for Young Republicans to have an active role in politics today. Members of Young Republican clubs not only benefit from the social aspects, but he chance for future political development.

As America's farm team of Republicans politics, the YRNF has spent the last 73 years creating the leaders of today, as well as training the next generation for tomorrow.

Some Yrs will run for public office to serve their communities; others work as volunteers for Republican candidates. Often our members join the Yrs to learn more about politics and the issues of the day and then, in turn, go on to educate their friends and neighbors.

We come from diverse backgrounds, what brings us together is a common belief in the principles of the Republican Party and desire to put them into action.

The goals of the BCYRs are these:

To educate our members on matters of public policy, current legislation and the workings of the workings of political process.

To involve our members at the grassroots of politics - where elections are often won or lost - by registering voters, walking precincts, and getting out the vote on Election Day.

To improve our communities through participation in charities, volunteer work and public service.

To provide our members with a means of contact with Republican legislators and party leaders as well as with the network of our own membership.

To provide support to other Republican Orginizations in Butler County, so that together we can keep and grow our Republican majority.
